Desiderii Marginis

Esta banda se formó en 1993, y es el despegue emocional de Johan Levin, quien es también el "único" miembro. La música de Desiderii Marginis se puede describir como el más oscuro dark-ambient (aunque la banda "In Slaughter Natives" se llevaría mejor esta mención), misterioso, a menudo siempre en una escala casi épica, es la tristeza en su máximo esplendor, Todo esto pertenece a las canciones de Desiderii Marginis, trágico y oportuno como en uno de sus tracks, "Where I end and you begin" del álbum denominado "That which is tragic and timeless". Johan Levin también colabora en una banda medieval llamada "Galtagaldr", toca, bouzouki, dulcimer, bombarde y flauta. Y por declaraciones nos dice que está en la dolorosa tarea de aprender a tocar Gaita, además se destacan sus conocimientos en historia, arte y arquitectura medieval, caligrafía, arqueología entre otras. Se sabe también que iniciará un tour por norteamérica en Noviembre del 2005.
